  • Co Founder

    A Civil Engineer experienced in design and project management on a range of schemes from residential and commercial developments to highway drainage and infrastructure projects. A background with a leading UK housebuilder and a local Consulting Engineer has provided a comprehensive understanding of design and the need for innovative Engineering solutions.

    With 24 years in the industry, Sam has a very strategic and extensive insight into undertaking outline engineering designs and feasibility studies for schemes up to circa 900 units; planning and detailed design input for multi phased residential and commercial developments; full detailed design for single phased schemes up to 200 dwellings.

 


  • Co Founder

    A Civil Engineer with a focus on hydraulic design, Sustainable Drainage Systems & Flood Risk Assessments. Jamie has an interest in securing planning approvals whether it is a Class Q permitted development, outline or full planning consent.

    With 15 years experience in engineering consultancies, Jamie has provided drainage & flood risk support on an extensive range of schemes across the residential, educational and commercial sectors. Projects include bespoke homes in the South Hams, +150 unit residential schemes in Cornwall, numerous Sainsbury’s Local extensions across the UK and several commercial buildings for Thatchers Cider.

With an extensive network of clients across the SW and UK, Civil Studio is an Exeter Based Civil Engineering practice specialising in Highways and Drainage design, Civil Engineering and Flood Risk Assessments.

Founded by two highly experienced Directors , Sam Fairclough and Jamie Purdue have 40 years of experience in their field and lead a team of talented Engineers.
